Watercolor by Jennifer Winship Mark
I am such a procrastinator!  I had until 8pm tonight to get this
watercolor completed for the WSO show coming up in Sunriver Oregon this October.
I finished the piece at 7:50- photographed it and entered it by 8:04.
It will be interesting to see what happens......
This is a portrait of my daughter, Laura.  A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of picking lavender out in Yamhill , Oregon during the Lavender Festival.  It was breathtakingly beautiful farm land.
I combined a photo taken of Laura looking into the sun while standing overlooking the Arno River in Florence  a couple of years ago.
Keep watching because I am working on some new landscapes currently.
I will post as soon as I have something!

Amazing dry pigments from Zecchi Art Store in Florence.
This is hallow ground for any artist visiting this great city.

Some of my favorite photos from Florence are of obscure carvings most people
don't even notice because they are too busy looking at
the "famous stuff"...it is fun to Open your Eyes!
